What is the Scouts Program? Scouts is a program for children and teens who really want to learn to ski or snowboard and to ski or snowboard better! Participants are divided into small groups (6 to 8 per instructor) according to age and ability. The groups range from beginners to the more advanced who want to learn to ski or board the bumps, powder and trees. Participants will be with the same group and the same instructor every weekend. What should parents expect? Your child will be in a safe learning environment where safety and fun are emphasized while learning to ski or ride. The instructors in this program enjoy and are specially trained to work with children. This program is held on Saturdays and Sundays. Participants may register for either Saturdays or Sundays. Each day of the program consists of 2 one-and-a-half hour lessons. The first lesson will be at 10:00 am and the second at 1:00 pm Scouts Program Dates ** Note: Prices Subject to Increase due to Increases in Fuel/Energy Costs ** 6-WEEK SCOUTS PROGRAM •Lessons Only $196.00 (2 lessons per day) •Beginner Package $286.00 (includes 2 Platterpull and 4 Multi-Lift tickets) •Chair Package $312.00 •Ski Rentals $105.00 •Snowboard Rentals $134.00 The 6-week Scouts program begins on Saturday, January 5th, 2008 for those who participate in the Saturday program and on Sunday, January 6th, 2008 for those who participate in the Sunday program. The make-up days will be February 23th and 24th. 3-WEEK SPRING SCOUTS PROGRAM •Lessons Only $102.00 (2 lessons per day) •Beginner Package $141.00 (includes 1 Platterpull and 2 Multi-Lift tickets) •Chair Package $159.00 •Ski Rentals $56.00 •Snowboard Rentals $72.00 The 3-week Scouts program begins on Sunday, March 2, 2008 for 3 consecutive Sundays. The make-up day will be on Sunday, March 23th. There is a minimum of 6 participants needed for the session to be held. There is a minimum of 6 participants needed for the session to be held. The Kinderscouts program runs concurrently with the Scouts program. Participants must be accompanied by an adult skier, intermediate level or above, who must purchase a lift ticket or have a season’s pass.
